About
The host...Jayson A Johnson
After thirty-two years working as a firefighter/paramedic in Los Angeles, Jayson evolved as many have before and stepped on the other side of the mic. Using the knowledge and experience of thousands of emergency and nonemergency calls, wrapped in the wisdom of the patients, their families, hospitals, nurses, and doctors, Jayson would interact with, many with whom he developed personal relationships, not to mention his inside accounts of the fire department. The good, the bad, and sadly, it seems that with all that many fought so hard for...ugly is making a comeback. Who better to shine the light?
Feelings are not facts. Just because something or somebody makes you feel some way does not remove responsibility of getting the facts, seeking the truth, and righting a wrong. It is never too late to do the right thing, The greatest gift I have ever received in my life wasn't material, money or status, it was my sister Jennifer simply saying "I believe in you". Love is a verb.

The West has always been a beacon of progress. Forward, out-of-the-box thinkers and innovators. Best of the West aims to highlight the movers, shakers, and even the risk takers, but no fakers. Step "Yo" game up!"
